Once an event has more than one door — a VIP lounge, backstage, the lot — "they're on the list" stops being a real answer, and wristband color-checks start failing. Access points make every area explicit: an access point is a place where passes get checked, and every pass unlocks a specific set of them — so "VIP" really does open more doors than "General Admission".
In the dashboard
- Open your event, go to Passes, and find the Access Points section. Create one per door or area you'll control.
- Open each pass under Passes and choose which points it unlocks.
- On event day, staff at each point scan as usual — a pass that doesn't include that point is turned away, with no judgment call at the door.
One entrance is fine too: a single "Main Entrance" point is the default setup for most events.
With the AI
Add a Backstage access point that only the Staff and Artist passes unlock
The assistant creates the point and updates the passes' access in one step.
