"Who gets in?" is never just one list — there are buyers, comps, VIPs, staff, plus-ones, each with different rules. Passes exist so every answer is explicit: an access pass is what a guest holds to get into your event, and it carries its own rules for how it's given out. Every event needs at least one — for most that's a single "Admission" pass, but you can add as many as you need.
In the dashboard
- Open your event and go to Passes.
- Create a new pass with a name guests will recognize, and pick an icon.
- Choose the distribution mode — how guests get it:
- Guest list: you add or invite guests yourself.
- Open RSVP: guests reserve a spot from your public event page.
- Paid: guests buy it from your event page.
- Save, then add guests to it from Guest List.
With the AI

The assistant creates the pass, generates an icon, and sets the pricing in one go. It can also change an existing pass — mode, price, limits — just describe what you want.
