Staff Lists

Non-expiring reference lists — VIPs, members, a blacklist — checked automatically when people are added to events.

Every organization carries institutional knowledge — who's a VIP, who's a member, who's banned — usually in someone's head or a stale spreadsheet. Staff lists make it permanent: a staff list is an organization-level list that outlives any single event, and when someone on one turns up on an event's guest list, a badge shows who they are.

In the dashboard

  1. From your organizer dashboard, open Staff Lists and create a list — "VIP Members", "Banned", "Vendors".
  2. Add people to it the same way you add guests to an event.
  3. At your events, anyone who matches a staff list shows an informational badge on the guest list — it never blocks anyone, it just makes sure the door knows.

With the AI

The assistant checks staff lists automatically: every time it adds guests for you, it flags anyone who matches. You can also ask directly:

Is anyone on tonight's guest list on the banned list?
